ClearPath uses AI-assisted screening to look for threatening, abusive and coercive language before messages are delivered. A flagged message can be held for the sender to review. This adds a communication boundary, but AI can miss abuse or flag it incorrectly. It cannot prevent physical violence or establish whether a relationship is safe.
Can I start without inviting my co-parent?
Yes. Set up your own account and use the free handover checklist and message templates. Shared conversations need an accepted connection. You can explore ClearPath without sending an invitation, and decide whether connecting is appropriate for your circumstances.
What happens to a message that is flagged?
A flagged message can stay with the sender for review and editing before delivery. Suggestions are not sent automatically. The sender reviews the wording and submits it for another check. See our message-screening guide for limitations.
Is my information processed by AI?
Relevant content is processed through cloud and AI services to provide screening and AI features. ClearPath is not an end-to-end encrypted messenger. Read the privacy policy and AI safety guide before deciding what to share.
What does ClearPath cost?
The app is free to download. Handover checklists and message templates are free after account setup. Monthly and annual subscriptions provide paid features, with the same access on either plan. Apple shows your local price and any eligible seven-day trial before you confirm. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled.
Can I message from Apple Watch?
The Watch companion supports a private handover checklist and screened messaging through a reachable, signed-in paired iPhone. Message sharing requires a separate opt-in. Use the iPhone for full conversations, records and account settings.
Can I export records for my lawyer or court?
ClearPath can format supported records into PDFs for you or your adviser. Review the contents and discuss the requirements of your matter with your legal adviser. A court decides whether a record is admissible.
