Protection around communication
Domestic abuse and co-parenting communication
Parenting arrangements can mean messages continue after a relationship ends. Those messages should not become another way to threaten, intimidate or control someone.

A layer of protection before a message is sent
ClearPath uses AI-assisted screening to help identify potentially harmful wording in co-parent messages. Brooke AI can help with wording for you to review. The purpose is to support clearer communication around practical parenting needs.
A screening result is not a judgement about a person or relationship. AI can miss abuse, misunderstand context or flag a suitable message. It cannot prevent physical violence or replace specialist support.
See how message screening worksYour safety and boundaries come first
You do not have to make an abusive situation sound like an ordinary disagreement. Rewriting a message should preserve the facts, genuine concerns and boundaries.
Do not use an app to contact someone if that would conflict with a court order or your safety plan. A specialist support worker can help you consider whether shared communication is appropriate for your circumstances. ClearPath does not assess that for you.

ClearPath brings supported communication and parenting records together, with PDF export for supported records. Check what is included and who will receive it before sharing.
Only collect or store evidence when it is safe for you. eSafety explains that discovering evidence collection can cause an abusive person to escalate. Preserve original records where possible and ask your legal adviser what is needed for your situation. A court decides whether evidence is admissible.
eSafety: collecting evidence safelyThink about the device as well as the app
Someone with access to your phone, shared accounts or notifications may see information you did not intend to share. An app cannot make a monitored device safe.
If you are concerned that a device is monitored, consider accessing support from a trusted device. Changes to accounts or settings may be noticed, so plan the steps that are safest for you with appropriate support.
