As of 15 September 2026, version 1.8.1 has been submitted to Apple and is awaiting approval. That update adds Watch messaging through the paired iPhone, with the app’s message-screening flow.
The submitted update also includes recent conversation viewing and controls to hide message content on the Watch. These additions are not described as publicly available until Apple approves and releases the update.
Your iPhone still matters
The Watch is a companion to the iPhone app. Keep ClearPath set up on the paired phone and use the iPhone for older messages, full records, account management and subscriptions.
The submitted 1.8.1 update requires iOS 17 or later on iPhone and watchOS 10 or later on Watch. Check the current App Store compatibility information before updating.
Choose when messages are visible
A watch face is easy for someone nearby to see. Consider your surroundings and device notification settings before viewing personal information.
Message screening can miss harmful language or misunderstand context. It supports communication; it does not determine whether a situation is safe.
